I was researching this it said it helps with nausa headaches and depression and no side effects . I asked friends who had concussions it said it helped I emailed some doctors it said its better then taking pills cause Ibprophen cause liver damage over time and I take 2-3 600 mg a day and my other pills have are effects like depressions and sucide etc. just asking what's your thoughts I live in Canada and I can apply for a license a friend of mine got one and he says it helps more the. Pill meds

Personally, I'm not real inclined to try medical marijuana for my symptoms.

I really struggle with my memory normally ~ and coming up with the "right words". Marijuana certainly wouldn't help with those issues and it would actually increase my PCS symptoms. I do suffer from major depression, but I'm not sure that medicinal marijuana would help with that aspect.

What is the Ibuprofen for? Headaches? You may want to see a neuro for treatment of that. I take Maxalt for my migraines & it works pretty well. No real side effects that I've noticed.

What symptoms are you try to get relief from with the MJ?

The only symptom I would consider it for is the anger issues that some deal with. I know of people who have used it to settle them down when they get stuck in an aggressive and angry state.

I would not suggest it for the other PCS symptoms. Its effect on memory and cognitive issues. would only make them worse.

There are enough head ache meds that can be rotated to prevent liver toxicity. An occasional blood test for liver condition can help to moderate any liver damage.

You have enough issues to deal with to risk the issues of MJ.

MJ is horrible stuff, really not worth the quick "feel good" and not really a healthy solution, despite it's popularity.

I tried MMJ for several months (I had a card). I was trying it mostly as a possible therapy against my migraines. Unfortuntely, it had no effect at all. I mean, NOTHING. Not good, not bad, not even a buzz. I discontinued trials, and have not used it since. Just my experience.

Thanks guys for the input I don't want to prolong my injury any longer I can't wait to go back to work and make money I am looking at all treatments I can. Thanks guys I won't go that route after hearing that input.
