I hit my head first in March of 2009 and have been hitting my head since then, so technically I have only been suffering from PCS since March of this year, but that is only because that was my last concussion.

It's been 9 months for me and no end in sight. But when I did neurofeedback yesterday they said I was still "early" in my recovery. Everybody seems to say that but sometimes I think it's just to make me feel better. I also hit my head 5 times in those 9 months but they were just bumps that aggravated the symptoms I don't think they were true concussions but boy they sure feel it was a concussion.

Hi Judy,
I think the conventional wisdom is that most people suffer from PCS for 3-6 months. I had my worst symptoms for about 6 months but certain symptoms have lingered for two years. It sounds like you might need to contact someone in you HR department about disability leave.

Do you have STD(short term disability)?
