Ski,
You said <Regarding your first reply. I am very worried about my future. With my insomnia the syndrome seems to get worse. Though I don't want to believe what you said it might be true. Have you experiencing this situation yourself or know a real case like mine. Thanks. > I don't understand what you are asking. There are plenty of specialists in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the tricities area. I found one 'concussion specialist' in the tricities but I am not impressed with him. He sounds like a standard 'sports medicine' doc working with an orthopedic clinic. His name is Rich Jacobs. He appears more interested in developing a patient list/practice than helping people overcome their PCS struggles. I may be wrong because I am limited to what he has posted online. My best to you.

Mark,
I am sorry for the confusion. From your previous reply, I know that I have a MIS (multiple impact syndrome) and you said: "MIS also creates a much greater risk if long term or even permanent symptoms, such as PCS." I meant I am worried about permanent symptoms. Thanks for the doctor recommendation. I am thinking to have a EEG test before neurofeedback treatment. Quote:

An EEG will not be of much value. A qEEG by someone who uses a good database to compare can be worthwhile. Finding that qEEG specialist can be difficult. Some neurofeedback therapists use good brain injury databases.
The only neurofeedback provider in the tricities does not mention TBI. His web site is very sketchy. Regarding long term or permanent symptoms, there are lots of things one can do to make them tolerable. I have been declining over 40 years after each successive concussion. I learned more skills each time. Other than having limits on driving, I can still be very high functioning.
