Default Finaly got brain mri done. What does it mean?

Findings brain mri with and without contrast

Impression: Scattered areas of abnormal signal in the subcortical white matter of both cerebral hemispheres with nonspecfic apperance. Differential diagonastic considerations include white matter shear imagesin this patient with history of head trauma and concussion as well as areas of microvascular ischemia that can be seen in patients with headache syndromes.

Any input would help. Thanks

The micro-vascular ischemia means there are areas with less than normal blood flow in the smallest blood vessels. The other sounds like it means there are signs of shearing damage or tearing damage. This likely relates to axonal damage since white matter is mostly axons.
