Are you able to guess what's going to be most stressful for you? (Stress meaning the most thinking that your brain will have to perform to achieve.) Will moving home allow you to let other to take care of you more? Will it require more driving from you? Will you have to pack and unpack? etc., etc. It sounds like you are probably familiar with both places. Injured brains love routines, so it might be less stressful for you to stay in your apartment. I don't know how bad off you are cognitively - maybe someone could come by and do your grocery shopping for you? Or help straighten up? So you can rest more. |

To reiterate what everyone has said. Rest is the key. The more you can rest at the beginning, the better. Don't do what many of us have done and push ourselves too far for too long before realizing it wasn't working. I wouldn't recommend doing a full-scale move or even going back and forth. As E said, pick one place and stick to it. Trust me on this one. Good luck.

Also, please contact your school's disability office, and talk to all your professors individually. All schools are required by law to make reasonable accommodation for a medical condition or disability. You will have the best results if you are able to get written confirmation from your doctor of what you need -- extra time on assignments or tests, quiet surroundings for testing, note takers, etc.
Take advantage of the supports that are available to you. You don't have to struggle through this all by yourself any more than someone with a broken leg would have to walk on it without a splint or crutches.
