Default Day 4 feeling 65%

Can't believe is day 4 of feeling non foggy non headache and non concussion symtomps today I drove for 2 hours first time in 3 months and day before that I taken a bus all day and day before that I walked around all day. I know not to push myself but it's been almost 8 weeks now since my second concussiom since jan 2012 and my 6 or 7th since I was 16.

I still have Little bit of memory problems and neck sore amd spasms and my hand are little shakey still but I can think clearer now and headaches are gone for the past 5 days but I'm not holding my breath I'm still going to take it easy and keep doing what I'm doing taking vitamins and omega and my ain't depressends.

Hopefully this is a sighn of recover or just the eye of the storm we will have to see how I feel in 2 weeks

Just be careful ok? I had several periods of feeling improved, but I tended to push it, and landed up each time with recurrence of symptoms.... I hope that you are able to not push it too far, and that you continue with positive recovery!

When resting, symptoms are low. With exertion, I still suffer from fatigue, migraines, vision problems, problems thinking or reading, troubles sleeping, issues finding or getting words to my mouth when the headaches are bad, tinnitus, and thyroid issues which I think are due to the concussion. Seen one specialist, and now a few others through insurance review of my case. Hoping for further treatment.

Glad to hear that you have had 4 good days!
Don't push too hard, but enjoy!

I'm now on day 8 feeling better I still have memory troubles but that foggy feeling an headaches etc are gone. The doctor said the tremors in my hands are from the celexa anti depressant. Im seeing a nurologist today. Hopefully this go good from here . Man these 9 weeks have been hell and back horrible experience .

Progress is good; it was helpful for me to try to focus on the positive changes. Keep it going!

What Happened: On November 29, 2010, I was walking across the street and was hit by a light rail commuter train. Result was a severe traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures (skull, pelvis, ribs). Total hospital stay was two months, one in ICU followed by an additional month in neuro-rehab. Upon hospital discharge, neurological testing revealed deficits in short term memory, executive functioning, and spatial recognition.

Today: Neuropsychological examination five months post-accident indicated a return to normal cognitive functioning, and I returned to work approximately 6 months after the accident. I am grateful to be alive and am looking forward to enjoying the rest of my life.

I'm sorry you suffered a set back. I understand how sometimes life happens and you just have to suck it up and get 'er done.

Not great when you're trying to recover though. Try to get as much rest now and be kind to yourself so you can feel better.
