Default should i still be seeing a neuro?

So I have that friend I had mentioned in an earlier thread that is seeing this awesome neuro. (my neuro said they didn't need to see me since April because I didn't have anything physically wrong on any scans ha ha ha). This friend seems to think I should see this neuro, which I am not opposed to, except for money issues.

My question is, with my problems I am having, for the most part, I am learning to live with them. Is it necessary to even see a neuro now that I have been without one for a while, and seem to be "ok-ish" except for the usual onslaught of regular symptoms?

(did that question make sense?) I can't tell. Anyway, any input would be appreciated.

The question should be, What is this neuro doing for your friend that may make a difference for you? If there is something this neuro has to offer besides holding your hand, it may be worthwhile. But, if all he does is understand and explain things, 9it would be a toss-up as to whether it would have any value. I seriously doubt he has any magic therapy or pill for you.

Thank you for your response Mark! You have a good point and I actually chuckled at myself because I think you hit the nail on the head with the wishful thinking of the magic pill / therapy thing.

I guess I am where a lot of people are at as far as being frustrated with not recovering as quickly as I would like, and having setbacks; this week has been AWFUL for me. The ringing in my ears has gotten worse and the headaches too. Blarg. Oh well. At least I can still work.

Thanks again
