Hello,
This has happened to me a number of times in the house & on public transit. Sleep-deprived (though I try very hard to get enough), I doze off somehere where I could fall over/bang my head badly. On the BART train, I jerked awake twice, my long neck snapping with a bit of pain. The second time, might have done a number on me, which is the cause of the pain topic I created. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. |

I get very exhausted for no apparent reason when I start to have trouble, it will come with the dizziness and headaches and stress and suddenly it seems like my brain wants to put me to sleep! Only I'm scared to because it feels a little like fainting. So I fight it, and try to relax and think about something that relaxes me and makes me happy instead (i.e. "happy place")

Jeffrey,
I get the same problem where several times a day, I fall asleep randomly when I doing something - fortunately only when I am sat down. I have even fallen asleep half way through writing and email! This is mainly after something has overtaxed and much like a PC I need a reboot. Normally this clears my head and I feel much better. However, the down side is that I always find my head slumped forward with my head on my chest which ins't good for my neck |

Sounds to me like you're not sleeping enough?
I think I read earlier that you can't sleep due to a crying baby and ear plugs don't work...Is that correct? If so maybe talk with your doctor and they can work with you. Maybe by sleeping meds or a sleep study? I take over the counter sleeping pills. Much like Gravol. It works for me. My Best to you, Kelly
