Confused frustrated

Tomorrow I have to go to the neurologist. This will be my third appointment with him. So far he has told me I have 2 options 1. is what he call the "whack a mole" approach where you see a symptom and you throw a pill at it the second is long term medication and migraine meds for break through headaches. Both sound the same to me except in the second scenerio I am taking something every day instead of just on my bad days. He refused to do any additional testing or send me to therapy or anything other than push drugs at me.
After a little over a month of seeing him and not a urgent care clinic he expects me to come in and tell him tomorrow that I am ready to say this is the best I can do and I have to choose a new career. I feel like I am being cheated out of my life and that he could care less if I get better or not he just wants to be done with me. All of that being said I still have 2-3 bad days a week where I am taking migraine medicine or anti emetics or a combination of the 2. I still cant make it through a day with out feeling like I need a nap and still get lost going to routine places. I do good to walk in a normal setting with out falling and he wants me to say I can get back on an ambulance and function in the back going 60 miles an hour while preforming patient care in emergency situations. Or just throw away everything I have worked for and start over.
It makes me feel so frustrated I could just scream and I frequently do at the wrong people.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him to see my side of all of this and that I know it may not help but I just want to try something other than drugs to help me?

I'm fairly new here and I haven't seen a Neurologist yet. But, I am also a health care worker. Not quite like you but I'd be worried about emergency situations. Idk what you are dealing with but my thinking patterns are quite slow, if it all.

I'll sit in a room for a minute then realize I've been there for hours. A lot of lost time. I certainly can't be a person responsible for another.

How do you feel about a second opinion? I'd do that before throwing in the towel.

My best to you,

Kelly
