There is no upper limit of toxicity for B12... The Japanese have used up to 40MG a day in studies for MS, with no side effects.

There are no reports of studies of toxicity in any database for B12.

MethylB12 the active form is the cofactor for making melatonin in the brain, which is your sleep hormone. Without it you don't sleep.

However, B6 can cause a neuropathy in high doses, and some people get it at lower doses than others. I tend to only recommend 50mg a day, because of this. People vary considerably.

Vitamin D should be tested periodically to keep you in range.
MS patients for example aim for a 100 reading (doctor supervised).
Others do well at 50. Below 50, and the cancer protection and immune support is lost. People who are outside alot in summer and get tanned, don't need to take the supplement then. I stop mine in summer for that reason. But during the winter I take 10,000 every other day. My testing results never hit 50, at that dose. I hover between 40-50 on it.

I'd suggest you try Kefir for your bowel issues. I had a friend recommend it for me last September and it is the best thing EVER for IBS or other problems. Use it once a day, and it provides TWELVE different strains of probiotics to repopulate your bowel.
This is the brand I use, and it is not expensive at all and tastes good too:

The fruit smoothies are great and you will be amazed. I was so ill last Sept, and the Kefir completely changed my bowel problems. You should give it a try. You'll notice within a week of every day use, I betcha!

Thanks again mrsD. I am going to continue taking my B12. I did not know it helps sleep.

About Kefir that sounds fantastic. I love yoghurt and all other natural food. I did not know something like Kefir exist About 10 big stores carry this stuff in my zipcode within 2 miles. I hope atleast one of them carry. I sure going to try the probiotics first. How would I know if not forums like this?

Cheers!

I am thinking about this IV infusion of vitamins since my stomach is sensitive. I think there is something like this in D.C.
