Only 2 glasses of water? I hope that's not per day!
Glad you are happy with your recovery. Wish I could say the same about mine... or the lack of mine. Starr |

I am so pleased to hear you are feeling better etters. I am PCS for almost two short months and still have many symptoms. In short most days are h**l and I struggle to get through them. BTW prior to my injury I had a very healthy life style. I had a very good diet, daily exercise and could put most twenty year olds to shame physically.
Since my injury very light activity for 1 hour is exhausting and my intellect is shattered. It sounds like you may have dodged a bullet and I am happy you did. I would not wish this on anyone even those I dislike, it is awful. Please be careful in the future at 50 I have had some truley great living. For those who are young and do not recover they will never get the oppertunities so many others do. Hope you feel better.

I am drinking Gatorade as well. I'm going to try and drink more than 2 glasses of water now since everyone has been saying that's not a lot.
I am still having the "dull" headaches, but it's no where near as bad as last week. Last Wednesday when I got out of bed my head was pounding, I could hardly even bend down to feed my cats. Now I can feel this "healing sensation" in my head. Hard to explain, but it's sort of a refreshing feeling, I know it's healing. One other thing I notice is taking a nap during the day helps too. Today I started to get the "dull headache", so took a vitamin with 2 glasses of water, then a 1 hour nap, and woke up feeling great! I will likely continue to take 1 nap during the day, since I work on the computer all day. I hope you all recover as well, I can't wait to get better... and be able to say... "I'm back!" |

I'm not religious (at all), but I do request assistance from... well... I don't want anyone to think I'm crazy so I won't go there.
But I can say this, if you ask for assistance from the right place, you just might get it. I have other experiences where I have requested assistance and was healed in a quick manner. No, I'm not talking about "evil" crap or any of that. I can just say that I believe in Technology, not magic, and that is all. Let's please avoid getting to a debate about this. I am simply stating what has worked in my experience, not discounting what you may believe in. Good luck friends, I will keep you updated on what happens over the next few weeks. |

You will be amazed at how a short nap will invigorate your brain. In fact, short naps during the day is highly recommended.
I doubt the vitamin did anything. It takes too long for it to be absorbed. But, keep up with the naps. They will serve you well. As I said at the beginning, Quiet Rest is the best therapy.

I agree with Mark.
Sleep is best and count ur blessings I can't nap. I try but the vertigo is so bad I get even more dizzy & nauseous when I close my eyes. Lying down & watching tv is bad too. The images make my eyes roll in the back of my head and I can't tolerate the sound. I spend most of my time in my yard where it's quiet and I can be alone..with sunglasses of course...the sun is just too darn bright. Happy Sleeping
