Have you looked to see if Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) might fit for the lax joints?

Have you had your c1-c2 alignment checked - (upper cervical ) chiropractic?

It is not the same as the normal chiro adjustments, quite different. Not aggressive at all.
