Default throbbing/pulsating feeling in back of head

I've had this strange feeling in the back of my head above and behind my right ear. Every minute off and on I feel this pulsating sensation. Kind of like an air bubble being released and it last for a brief second. It's painless.

I can't get into my neurologist until late August and he's been useless so far anyway. I just thought this might be something worth getting an MRI or CT scan for. I did come down with some sort of viral infection last week and it's made my PCS symptoms much worse(could be related?) I've noticed my neck feels much tighter lately also.

It's been about a year since my accident and I've only had the initial CT scan the day of which showed nothing. Have most people on here gotten a follow up scan of some sort following their injury? Is there any reason to?

Default Pulse

I think the optical nerve is in that area. Maybe its a minor tremor??

hmm. I don't know. I know I get weird sensations in my head, like something is crawling around above my left ear sometimes. It is painless, but definitely hinky. I have never felt the air bubble thing though.

I don't know about doing a followup MRI, etc, that would def be something to ask your neuro about. I remember Mark saying in a post once that MRI's expose you to a lot of radiation or something not good, so be aware of that too. (hope I remembered right).

Good luck...
