Can I drink this?
I noticed it has a lot of sugar...but it tastes so good.

What happened: I was randomly assaulted from behind in June of 2011. I was knocked unconscious for an unknown amount of time (less than 30 minutes) and have no memory of the event. CT scan showed contusion and hematoma of the left frontal lobe. I spent 3 days in the hospital. Diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome in September 2011. Currently have Medicaid, Medicare and SSI. Current symptoms: Brain fog, mild memory issues, problems with spontaneity, occasional spacing out, word finding difficulties, tinnitus in right ear and some other things that I can't explain. Life after the brain injury: 4 years after the injury, I'm engaged to my beautiful girlfriend of 5 years, I'm the CEO of my own business, Notorious Labs, I've taught myself how to program complex games and apps which is a feat I never thought I'd accomplish and now live a semi-normal life with very mild PCS symptoms. Slowly but surely regaining my life back. |

It does not have caffeine so it should be fine. I used to get it in the Extra Dry version. The carbonation would go up your nose if you drank it too fast. I drink Sierra Mist. It has natural sugar and flavors. I make a mix with Langers Cran Raspberry in it. It is all natural too.

Must admit I am finding it difficult to find things to drink especially since the majority of carbonated drinks are out together with coffee and beer.
I find it difficult to absorb water unless there is something in it, not keen on milk, too much natural fruit juice isn't that good for you. So what else is there ?

I feel your pain. I cut out as much sugar, caffeine that I can and completely cut out aspartame, glutamate, all that good neurotoxin crap that I can't believe they get away with selling.
As far as I've looked into it, Gingerale is the best of the regular pops for you. Plus as a little kid when you had the flu, the ginger helped my stomach, great for pcs nausea! Do you have a health food section at your local grocery store? I work at one, so I see them all, haha :P There's lots of new pops that are "organic lemonades", etc. Cream sodas, raspberry lemonade, mango orange, rootbeer, etc. I've been able to find ones with no sucralose, aspartame, etc. They use cane sugar instead. High in sugar (the good stuff always does), but a good substitute ! Hope that helps! |
