Default how long can double vision/light sensitivity last for?

Its easily my biggest problem. I see a neurologist for the first time next week to see what my deal is but ive been dealing with double vision when looking at some lights and 100% of the time when i look at the time on the cable box of the lighted words on a Mcdonalds menu. its really annoying

is the double vision due to light sensitivity? its been like this since around April. All my other symptoms are getting better or gone and this vision is really the sticker

if it helps i hit my head in the back left part so im wondering if i permanently damaged my vision

i have been suggested vision therapy here but i think its more in my brain than my eyes

Double vision and light sensitivity are two entirely separate symptoms. Double visions is much more treatable than light sensitivity. Vision therapy can help with double vision. Check to see if there is a therapeutic optometrist that can check you out.

Vision therapy is about retraining the brain.

Someone here has the name of an association that can direct you to a local optometrist.

Default Double Vision Or is it Light Divergence

Double vision IE try driving and focus on a vehicle to the left or right of you if suddenly it turns into 2 Vehicles one directly in front of you and one in the next lane thats Double vision Its NOT Brain training Its For life . You can wear a Corrective Crystal lens contacts or Glasses. I have Double vision And this only takes a few seconds of focus to suddenly occur . its not everytime all the time but it is Freaky and IF you drive a lot its concerning I did not then know weather to drive thru the Van in front of me or pass it to the left ! one was not real But both had the same licence plate !
I purchased the Krystal upgraded Glasses withnin an hour of first noting this Only a optomatrist can tell for sure if you simply have eye fatigue when starring at lights or Double fision the low intensity objective like the Grey Van I encountered Was a good thing to be the first warning . MCd Lights will cause no more than rapid eye Fatigue .

This link is helpful:

Vision therapy and/or prism lenses can really help with double vision. Light sensitivity can take a very long time to heal. I've been dealing with it for a year now; it was at its worst six and a half months ago, but it's been improving pretty steadily since then.
