Default red, sore eyes?

okay, so

I saw a doctor yesterday, he said when I proposed concussion, "I don't think so..." I don't trust doctors on these types of opinions though. I still feel very tired behind the eyes if that makes sense.

I am fine cognitively, memory is good, I don't tire out if I read, I'm still as sharp as the next uninjured person.

What I do have though are basically tired, red eyes that make my vision seem cloudy, and my face seems puffy? I was really tired yesterday, but I was also sleep deprived. And still no bruise has ever formed and it's been 5 days.

So, my question is, could the problem with my eyes be related to my head injury, or is it something like hay fever(I can't see my doctor till Thursday).

Thank you

I have never heard of a head injury causing red, sore eyes. My suggestion is allergies/hayfever. This is about the time for grasses to be going to seed. Rye grass is a common hat fever allergen.

There are other airborne irritants that can also cause red, sore eyes. Here in Idaho, we have smoke from wildfires.

A simple test is to take a hayfever med. If it resolves the symptom, the diagnosis is made. Ask the pharmacist which med works for eyes. You can also buy eye drops for allergy eyes. They work very quickly. I need them during the rye grass season at my cabin.

My best to you.
