QUOTE DFayesMom
"Being still is difficult for me, but I've been working on being present in the moment. It's hard." __________________________________________________ __ DFayesMom, This is so true for me. It is very hard. It is indeed 'work'. And in no way would ADD or ADHD accurately describe me 'as I was' for 4+ decades of my life, prior to MTBI-PCS. Being quiet is not a difficulty for me. "Being still", i.e. with my own mind, "just simply" as it is, is enormously difficult for me. I am encouraged by your statement above ... "working on being present in the moment." That's really everything, as I hope to truly come to know and embody. Sending you some energy of supportiveness toward your own effort to remain truly present as well. Theta ;) |
True that DFayesMom and ThetaZ. Also working on to "concentrate the mind on the present moment".
Dizziness really sucks!!! Been dealing with that all along (31/2 years). Not room spinning but sea legs, some pushing from behind feeling :), feeling like falling, sinking etc., Any external stimulation makes it worse when too many things happening around. Hope you recover spontaneously. Cheers! |
