Default PCS with booster knock

Hi i'm a person from the UK, 30 male. This site is the only thing that keeps me going
My first knock was at the end of August, smacked my head full force against the frame of a car door getting out too quickly. I'm a big lad, so It was like all my weight (100kgs) against my head I guess. Wasnt knocked out, but i was a little confused after for several hours, and i could feel the top of head physically didnt feel right, driving home that day everything was bright and sparkly. The next day everyday I got the classic concussion headaches, couldnt recall some longterm memory things (without trying really hard - still cant sometimes), generally quite worried. read on the net, that after a week headache symptoms would go. Got really worried when I had to travel for a conference for a couple of days, decided not to take the car, as even though I could drive, it required more effort than usual, went to A+E after a long drive which really tired me, to see if i could get a check. doc just said it would go after a couple of days, and it would be safe to drive (it was a 3 hour drive), and that my head turned into a 486 pc. i didnt believe him and took the train instead ( i seemed ok to not get a scan). when i got to the conference told the organiser i couldnt present explaining what happened, but she egged me on, and somehow i managed to do it. when i came back, i gradually got back to normal after a couple of days. THEN, i managed to bang my head on the car but on the other side, this time it was a minor scuff, just a brush that normally wouldnt have affected me. then boom full time headaches even worse than before. i was in between contracts so i thought i could take time off, but had family coming, so had to take them travelling all over with the headaches no time to rest. after they went i was starting a new job, so had to be my best, so i ploughed through with the headaches, the 3rd day i had to take a flight, so the night before i was preparing a lot, headaches getting worse, noticed pupils were not same size, freaked out and went to A+E at 11pm, knowing my flight was at 5am. i was really worried and scared, waited ages and ages eventually saw a doctor, who did the tests, said my eyes were fine and gave me co-codamols for the headache which was the worst thing to do, as i got addicted to taking them for two weeks, YES, it did seem to make the headaches go, but realised i had to stop, taking too much (nurofen plus and solpadiene max together). when i stopped i had even worse headaches and fatigue. just today i think i'm better, very fatigued though- i've stocked up on omega 3 and iron, and trying to avoid caffeine and fizzy drinks. i know my experience is not as epic as some here , but just wanted to share, and to tell people not to take codeine enthused pills for too long, they will rebound and kick you in the ***. i too have become mega sensitive around the head, wont let anyone touch, and freak out in crowds and small planes. trying to meditate more and generally be more stress free. the past couple of months have been an eye-opener, opened up different perspectives on life. i try to plough on, i cant stop working as I'm on a limited contract and have to deliver results, constant working on the PCS with PCS.

peace out, and hope everyone here is making a daily recovery to a PCS free life.

Default

Much the same (size and type of job)

I had a fall on the Tuesday and was badly concussed - couldn't remember where I lived. I was 200 miles from home and couldn't face the journey home so stayed in work until the Thursday - worst thing I had done.

I was on a contract which had 6 weeks to complete with another one lined up afterwards. The firm I was working for wouldn't let me back on site until I had the all clear from the doctor. I have been sat at home now for 10 months.

Starting to feel well enough to consider starting back
