Default Weather makes us worse?

Hello,

I posted two questions in another one of my posts but then I remembered a third question

It was 17 degrees Celsius here yesterday and today it is 1. We had three amazing days of warmer weather and through it all I felt worse then I've felt in a few weeks. Eyes were worse, dizziness and confusion were much worse and fatigue too. I had some head pain that hasn't really been a problem in a couple weeks.

Do you all find that when there's big weather changes your symptoms change? What do you think the cause might be... sinuses? Any suggestions with ways to deal with it or what weather specifically is the issue so I can be prepared for it?

hey, how do you add an automatic signature at the end of your post... they're helpful so you can see who's who and why they're here....

Thanks!

Responses to weather changes can be all over the map. I think it is best to not try to figure these things out. Type A behaviors need to be abandoned, if you can.

Default Barometric pressure changes affect us.

Yes, unfortunately the changes in barometric pressure has its effect on us. See previous thread links here, such as:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...etric+pressure
and

I generally just try to not have anything really demanding upon me during these times, which are frequent here on the Gulf Coast. I stay close to home and keep it simple, drinking extra soothing herbal teas, taking ibuprofen, etc. Today is one of those days here, as the barometric pressure is falling, and we will be getting some rain and cooler temps as a result.

You're not imagining the effects at all, and you are in plenty good company here on NT.

One of the Forum Moderators will likely be along here shortly to help instruct you on how to post your signature details. Thanks for asking. It does always help to see those.

Best to you,

Theta

yep good point. I find it very hard to turn off the type A personality. It's always been who I am! I've always been the very talkative person with amazing hearing that can never turn off her brain. These things are coming back to haunt me now. Thanks for the reminder.

Many conditions are influenced by weather or barometric pressures like chronic myofascial pain, fibromyalgia, quite a few of our forums mention weather related symptoms fluctuations.
