No, I don't think about suicide. But having to drive so much, the thought of how swiftly a crash can occur - especially a head on crash such as she experienced - enters my thoughts often. It's awful and I don't wish to die.
But I want to be closer to my wife, close like we used to be. I miss that a lot.

Sometimes she gets very forgetful (well, ok always!). Last night in bed she held my hand and she told me in sign that she loves me forever.
She is still my beautiful girl and once in a rare while she shines through the captivity of her injuries. When her injuries continue to capture and hold her against all of our wills, well it is a very hard thing to bear.

I always tell her now and even before the crash I made it a point to let her know multiple times every day how I feel about her. Life is short.
