So finally got a new neurologist that ordered and got an MRI and EEG. I figured I would hear both were normal but to my surprise MRI normal EEG shows seizures. I am floored my career as a paramedic more than likely over. We are now waiting on A. My company to say if they are willing to find a job for me and B. The doc to send us a disability rating. Anyone have any input on what that number might be? I know no two cases are the same but would like to hear some to let me know a ballpark.

Have you considered looking for ER or Urgent Care Clinic work as a med tech? I know a paramedic who moved to ER work for more normal hours.
A disability rating will likely need a complete NeuroPsych Assessment to determine what job functions are appropriate for you. \ How about a school nurse type of position? Or, get trained as a concussion specialist so you can administer concussion tests to athletes for a school district. Lots of ways you can work while staying away from risk and over-stimulating environments.
