NUCCA and AtlasOrthagonal have specific adjustment techniques based on the patients need. It is not like general chiro where there is Gonstead, Palmer, Diversified, Activator, and others.

Myofacial Release is similar. I would look for a Physical Therapist who is trained in MR. There was a school in California that is known for teaching great MR skills. It was in San Raphael or Marin County across the bay from San Francisco. You might ask where the PT was taught their MR skills. The same people now travel the country putting on clinics.

Then, let your experience guide you. A good MR PT should leave you feeling like you have the PT's finger prints in your skin. There is a momentary pain with a quick relief/release.

My MR PT looked at me and gave me an accurate diagnosis by just observing my posture. She then had me lay down and her first touch was AAAAAAH. She knew exactly where to effect a release without any probing. A good MR PT should be that skilled.

Good luck finding such a healer.
