Default Update and a quick question about Vitamin B shot from Chiro.

Hey Nuero fam-

Its been about a month since my last post. As some of you may remember, i was having a very hard time with strange sytmpoms and some extreme anxiety.

Well, life is much better as of late.

What helped me the most was actually pushing myself. Setting obtainable goals was a must and it has definately made a big differance with my progress.

I am now in the gym 5 -7 days a week and working out at about 80%. I am working 8 hours a day and i feel like every day is getting better.

I believe that the majority of my weakness was percieved and or from lack of sleep.

I however still have some strange (left over from anxiety?) symtoms such as twitching eye lid and calves. More of an annoyance than anything.

I have been on a solid regimen of supplements.
Iron Free multi
Magnesium
Omega 3
D3
Zinc

I have also been getting massages twice a month and acupuncture once a week. Last week I started therapy with a NUCCA Chiro. Talk about expensive. Not sure if its working or not. He suggested I get the Vitamin B shot that his office gives. Below is what is in it:.

“The "S" Shot designed by Brenda Marshall MD, is a combination of B-Complex and activated Vitamin B-12 plus selected amino acids to support the liver for metabolizing fat, giving energy and helping detoxify the body. The body stores fat in response to a lack of efficiency in detoxifying...often storing fat soluble toxins in your body fat to rid these substances from floating through your bloodstream. The greater toxin load on the body, the more fat your body will store.”

What are your thoughts?

Why don't you just take some B supplements. Her shots sound expensive and focused at weight loss.

Start with a B-50 complex and 1000 mcgs of B-12. You might consider B-12 drops if you are concerned about absorption. B-12 and folate are common blood tests. I'd do the blood test before getting the injections. You want B-12 to be about 1000 pcgms/mL and about 20 or above for folate. These supplements should show result rather quickly.

From what you say about your exercise and such, why are you seeing the NUCCA ? Do you have head aches ?

You are doing great. Get the B's going and see how you do. I bet you do great.

My best to you.
