Default What is the difference between Physical Therapy and Physiotherapy???

Hi, I never heard of heard of physiotherapy until reading this forum. What exactly is it, and how is it different from physical therapy?

Is one necessarily better than the other depending on one's symptoms with PCS and/or upper cervical injuries ?

Thanks for any input you may have !
