I have an almost nonstop feeling of pressure in my head. It is one of my most constant and annoying symptoms. I was wondering if anyone could explain what causes the pressure and if they have found any way to relieve it.

I have been told its muscular, I get it on the left and right side of my head. It is provoked for me by too much noise, light, stress, fatigue or activity. It is being relieved for me by Cymbalta topped up by Neurofen. Cymbalta is an anti depressant/anxiety med with pain killing qualities. Its a med that isn't for everyone but its working for me.

It is just my theory that it is from the brain swelling. It feels like it swells and it gets too tight inside the skull. Kind of like wearing size 1 Levi's when you are a size 7. Not comfortable. That is what it feels like no? Also I think the feeling comes on for me when I have just pushed it too hard. I think it is our brain warning us. Could also be from fluid. I had major fluid problems for a few years after having my liver problem. It has cleared up with time and care. Maybe after you hurt one of your major organs it try's to heal by using this fluid or this fluid is from being really hurt. It can get better.
