Does anyone know about / have an opinion about the Relox procedure?
I read about it in a story about a former bobsledder who reported significant improvement after treatment with it. |

I looked at the Relox web page and it looks like it could be beneficial. The combination of nutritional aids and oxygen could provide a quick boost to the nervous system. The blood-brain barrier may limit some of the therapeutic value for PCS.
There is no information about the cost and insurance coverage for it is sketchy. It does not look like it has any risks other than the financial cost if the improvements are minimal. It would be worthwhile to find out what the costs are. Then a financial risk vs possible benefit analysis could be done.

It looks like this is only offered in Washington DC though, is that correct?

But I have severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Dr. Rind said that for those who have other illnesses they may not get as much benefit because the nutrients go where they are needed most, which may not be the brain. So now I'm searching for other treatments to try. |
