I also had pain in both ears, worse on the left, the side my vehicle was hit. The pain in the right ear dissipated after a couple of years. I still have pain in my left ear. It feels like a chronic ear infection. I tried antibiotic ear drops, homeopathic ear drops, saline spray in the ear, but they did not help. The physicians I consulted said there was no sign of infection. One ENT said that it may be related to a lack of circulation, but I'm not sure. It felt like the eustachian tubes were inflamed, and fluid was getting trapped in the ear. A sinus saline nasal spray helped somewhat. I would spray it into my nose, bend my head back, and too the side, and let it trickle into the eustachian tubes. This temporarily relieved some of the swelling. I also had issues with muffled hearing, tinnitus and hyperacusis for a long time. These symptoms have since resolved.
