Hello,
I was wondering what, if any, effect a concussion could have on the sinuses? I recently had a sinus CT (5 weeks post concussion) and it showed inflamed sphenoids and ethmoids. Is it possible to damage your sinuses from concussion? If so, does it die down with time? Can you damage your nose? (my CT report said I had a possible small bone fracture in my nostril, but the nose doc said that it looked good). I am finishing a round of prednisone and haven't seen much relief. I guess I am trying to see if there is indeed a link between inflamed sinuses and ear pressure (my main complaint). ![]()
