Thumbs down I need to be put to sleep for surgery

I WAS SO STUPID AND GOT THIS ESSURE because I cannot take birth control. Essure been in me for 2weeks and VERY BAD I cannot walk, every bone, joint, muscle in my body is hurt!I feel like I have MS.Well we believe it is an allergic reaction to nickel(that I had NO IDEA IT IS MADE OUT OF).

I am going to get tubal ligation on Wed or Thursday this week to get Essure out.I have to be put to sleep. Is my brain going to be ok?Any feedback appreciated greatly!

I will not mess with my body ANYMORE after this except acupuncture and medicines.I found this of course after the fact if anybody is interested for reading http://vervilledeb1.wordpress.com/20...e-among-women/

Question Well I Went to Hospital Today

My mom made me go to hospital because she thought I was going to go into analeptic shock.I appreciate my mother for making me go.The diagnosis was low protein....4 hours at hospital for low protein and they said to try a couple days without any vitamins to see if the body swelling goes down.

I do not trust M.D.'s that are not on "my team". I realize that I need to stop thinking like this towards outside M.D.s.This is something my PTSD psychologist is working with me on.I am happy to say that it was not a horrible diagnosis but should I believe this?

I am still getting surgery to get Essure out and need to be put to sleep this week.I guess I got low on protein because I had a jaw problem that chewing was not aloud...only soft foods! With acupuncture in jaw I can chew now.I guess I will be catching up on some steaks lol!

Default Hi MiaVita

Sorry you have experienced this condition. As far as being put to sleep,...try not to worry. Sedation these days is very easy, and usually done with more a twilight sleep, very mild. You should have no recovery problems, I never did, and I do get an endoscopy often. You can't drive home however, and that first day, you may feel a bit groggy. It will be OK. Just get the proceedure done, and you will feel better. I will keep you in my thought and prayers. ginnie

Default Thinking of you Mia

So sorry to hear of your pain.

I agree with ginnie, I think you will be all right with the surgery and sedation. Ask your medical team too though.

Hang in there MiaV

[SIZE="1"]What happened. I was in a car accident 2-23-2013, and got a mild concussion from it. I had some time off for brain rest, got somewhat better, but slipped into PCS in March 2013.

Symptoms I had: dizziness, light and sound sensitivity, fatigue, tinitis, occasional headaches and migraines,

Symptoms as of 5--2013: poor sleep, tinitis, some confusion /short term memory blanks, balance. The other symptoms are mostly gone, but flare up if I OVERdo something.

Therapy I had: vestibular

3 months in: I could drive more and for longer distances. I felt like a younger, happier version of myself and I feel so blessed to have this feeling.

9 months in and I am working full time. I do get tired, and some sound and light sensitivity from time to time, but mostly I am over most of my symptoms.
I pray every day and I m praying for your recovery.

Over a year in: I can multi task (limited) and have humor in my life. But when I am tired, I am very tired.

Ensure High Protein is a 50% protein daily supplement for you, liquid you could use.

It is a start.

Heart Thanks

I am going to try the Ensure shakes. My body does not do well with milk, soy things of that nature but I will give it a try.I slept like a rock last night with my feet and head elevated on pillows and already have some some pain relief.I set a steak out of the fridge that I am going to cook for Bfast lol

I also wanted to add that the M.D. that did my EKG asked if I was in war after hearing my list of problems.
~Also the higher power was with me because I prayed the whole time because they thought I was having liver/kidney failure (IDK how that would happen). We all know that we get worked up about any little thing with a M.D. before diagnosis!

~Also my daughter poked me on Friday and said I "looked puffy".....She hit it on target! She took care of me last night and we both are eating steak for bfast!

Thumbs down Allergic reaction to Essure

I had to get an emergency laparoscopic tubal ligation today.Because I had a allergy to what the Essure was made out of nickel!!!That I had no idea before I got it. Luckily my OBGYN was able to fit me in this morning before she went on a vacation for a week. If I did not get surgery done today I was on my way down a bad road! Anaphylaxis SHOCK!!!

But I made it threw and feel a lot better but a few things like Co2 they used and the 3 incisions are hurting.I had got medication for.And me and my mom went and got acupuncture this late afternoon and it helped the Co2 pain

My M.D.s said I need to slow down on the vitamins as well.I win def be doing low sodium and salt diet.My mom walked in after my recovery because she drove me, and said "wow the swelling has went down and you look a lot better"! I also got instant relief as well I do not have all the joint/muscle pain

I am looking to heal up and get back to my rehab....I think it will be sooner than later.I feel good and am sooooooo happy I got this taken care of today!I thank the higher power for watching over me and helping me threw the past 2 years threw these trying times....I also thank this support group for your guys support.

~The oxygen made my brain feel really good~I felt like I woke up somewhat smarter in my 4 impairments~Does anyone know of any oxygen therapy beside the infer red light that I use to get from physical therapy?I am interested in learning about some oxygen therapy.Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Mia
