As a quick update, I ate the other half of the candy (I tried the chocolate peanut butter cups) and I have still yet to notice any adverse side effects (headaches primarily). I honestly feel as though this candy was on par with Reese's, and I'm therefore looking forward to trying some of the other products they have to offer. I'm surprised no one else has seen this and tried it as it seems to be all over the place at this point. I hope this info helps at least someone to be able to curb their sweet tooth without negatively affecting their recovery |

student23,
I think you are over doing the idea of avoiding HFCS and sugars, etc. There are plenty of options for avoiding HFCS. Having a sweet tooth does not mean you need to feel deprived. An occasional sweet is OK. I like candy and have 2 Herseys Nuggets dark chocolate with almonds. That is 80 calories and is satisfying. If you can satisfy your sweet tooth with fruit, that is great. You are better to have a bit of satisfaction and lower your anxiety than avoid the sweets and feel anxious. My best to you.

I've found at health food stores - and I know Whole Foods has them - vegan gummy bears and jelly beans that are sweetened with real sugar and fruit juice. They certainly are still pure sugar and not great for you...but they aren't fake, chemical foods at least. Sometimes you just want junk food
