Default help!! can't get better after six years

my brain injury was caused by a prescription drug interaction. Doctor gave oxycodone and subutex together for pain and caused precipitated withdrawal resulting in brain injury.
I have constant muscle spasms in neck and head.
when I sleep, I don't sleep well, my hands go numb, I wake up shaking, I have night terrors.
when I am awake, it feels like I am always about to lose my mind and I don't feel connectd to the world.
the first few years I had horrifying headaches and those are gone but now the other symptoms don't budg.
it has also caused complete impotence, I hate to say.
I almost never leave the house and am scared to death after six years of this I feel like I am just waiting around to get alzheimers or dementia.
I started mark's vitamin regimen a few weeks ago and am hoping something will happen.
please help me.

markneil,

Tell us more about your injury that caused the pain you were being treated for. Your symptoms may be due to more than the drug interaction.

Your posts have a very limited history of your condition. Often, the obvious cause is not necessarily the major cause.

Default hypertensive crisis caused the pain..

I had a hypertensive crisis caused by drinking beer with an maoi, which is a very old and dangerous antidepressant which interacts with a substance caused tyramine which is found in beer and causss hypertensive crisis. doctor's think I miht have had a thalamic stroke which caused post stroke pain.

that's when I went to the pain management doctor who agreed but put gave me the very dangerous concoction of ocycodone and subutex. the precipitated withdrawal was brutal and I got progressively worse for months and months with head pain becoming unbearable and the other symptoms I mentioned coming over time.

have constant tugging and pulling of muscles in face and head and neck burning pain in arms, blurry vision, tittinus, muscle spasms and twitches. I get dizzy sometimes when I read. the list goes on and on. feel hopeless

Why were you taking an MAOI ? Which one ?

Have you tried Lyrica or gabapentin or other meds that help with nerve pain and/or seizures ?

Are you on a brain health nutritional regimen ?

Default maoi was for depression...

the MAOI was for depression.

I tried lyrica and nurontin and had bad reactions to both. got very confused and actually had more pain.

started your recommended vitamin regimen two weeks ago. I guess i'll have to wait and see if that helps

one doctor said I had nystagmus as a result of what happened.

I have just lost all hope.

I really appreciate our responses.
