Norma,
I'm so sorry you've been put in this position. My mom and I always talk about our plans if we had extra money. We'd travel our nation helping those in need. I know there are people out there that feel this way with resources. I wish I knew how to send them your way.

Have you talked to your churches in town, or town leaders, school leaders? There are people that want to help just waiting for a cause. It couldn't hurt to ask, or have an article written about your situation. Not only could you possibly find financial help, but friendship and support for your family.

Peace, Jace

Thanks for the comments

I have actually had a lot of help. In the beginning I spent almost three months in bed and people organized, cooked and sent over every meal for me and my family. The school held a fundraiser for me last winter.

At Christmas I received a 4 huge boxes of food from my insurance broker and another Christmas hamper from the school.

Someone gave me a time share in April to Daytona and some else bought me a plane ticket. It was so nice to get away from everything. People do not realize you need a break from being sick and to look at four different walls or the ocean.

I really don't get out and now that I don't work I really do not have a circle of people I see. I honestly think people think I have recovered. You must admit it is rather unusual for some one to be suffering from pcs for a 16 months.

I am at least starting to feel a little better which helps greatly. I will start looking into alternatives. One step at a time.....

Thanks for your support it is really a great feeling to know other people understand.
