Default as soon as i close my eyes, all heck breaks loose

I close my eyes to go to sleep and all of a sudden my mind goes crazy and I am in the middle of a battle or god knows where. why does this happen I used to fall asleep pretty normally before head injury. anybody have any ideas. scary stuff.
