Default any idea what causes waking up with burning head/neck spasms

I have heard that noripenephrine release (excess) can cause this. upon waking, usually during a dream, I get severe burning spasms in neck and into the arms and legs, the spasms go away after about 20 seconds but burning can last for about 10 minutes. very frightening.
