Default Just Sayin' Hi

I haven't posted for awhile because not a lot had changed until recently. I am getting more frequent migraines. I woke up one morning and just felt "off" and didn't realize it until my husband asked me if I felt ok because I answered an email of his twice about 1/2 hour apart. The first answer didn't make any sense, but the second one kind of did. It went away and only then did I realize I had woken up with a migraine. That sorta freaked me out.
I am having issues getting to sleep again, which makes me mad. This in turn makes me exhausted, which doesn't help.
All in all, I am hanging in there, but starting to worry this will be as far as I go in recovering. If it is, I still have many things to be thankful for, if not I will be patient. <------ not my strong point.
I hope everyone here is looking at the victories rather than the defeats.

Default One Year

what a year!
I am still having issues with blue lights and high contrast/flashing lights. In about a week I am getting new glasses with a 1% prism in the lenses. Hoping this helps. Still kind of stuck, but coping.
The high temps and humidity suck my energy, and again not sleeping well. Fireworks were a definite no go. Even with sunglasses and not facing them I ended up hiding under a blanket. Too loud, too many people, etc. Slept all the next day.
Lesson learned.
Prayers to everyone coping with this yourself or helping a loved one.
