Default Acoustic Neuroma, anyone?

Hello,
Are there any members who have been diagnosed with this non-benign turmor? In 2005 I had surgery to remove a 2.5 cm located close to the brainstem. I have had 2 MRIs since and they were clear. The last MRI will be done in 2015.

I have regained good balance, can drive, and function well.

Single-sided deafness on the right side is a daily challenge. It has been frustrating and there are times it can be quite depressing and isolating, as large crowds, noisy places, and anxiety stresses ..... good news.....is learning and limits and pacing.

So, any survivors, words of wisdom, some humor, would be most appreciated.
I promise to reply in turn, and offer support and a good left listening ear to all.
