HI,
I asked my neurologist to send me to an neuro-opthamalogist , however, he feels I'd best be served by seeing a 'regular' opthamalogist first then, if that doctor feels I should see a neuro-opthamologist, I will be referred to one. I tried to get the neuro-opthamologist on my own, but was told I need referral by neurologist. Is this common practice? If you went to opthamologist first, what were the findings that let you to see a neuro-opthamologist. I have blinding headaches and a squeezing sensation behind my eyeballs ...it feels like someone is pinching the back of my eyes. I am sensitive to light and sound. Thanks. |
