Default Here am I... back to the club... again

Ok, it's been a while since I posted here. I've been through a lot - I think, 6 or 7 concussions, major depression (still going on) and lots of other fun stuff, including going insane (literally). About a year ago, I was at the point where I thought I was completely cured and life is back to happy and normal, just like it's supposed to be. WRONG!!!

On August 5th I feel down the stairs in my own house, broke my right ankle into 3 pieces+had 100% misplaced bone. Went thru the surgery, still in the cast. I remember thinking - good thing that I didn't hit head!

About a week ago my 9 years old ran into me, we kind of bumped into each other, just the minor hit, my kid rubbed his head and went on playing. Me...well, now I have all of my symptoms back, including, but not limited to dizziness, brain fog, troubles concentrating, etc, etc.

Now I am in the cast (right ankle), having all of my concussion symptoms back and my depression is uncontrollable, I cry constantly. My husband said he's had it, which is understandable, he's been taking care of me forever and I still have 2 children (10 and 9 years old) to take care of and I can't even get out of bed. Life sucks officially. I don't know what to do... any hope left?

Hi Marina!

Hang in there... I am having a setback too. We have to be brave and we will get better! This will be a small setback, your body needs energy to heal instead of being sad. It is so frustrating to not be on both feet, but remember your body is working so hard and it is doing its best. Just be really nice to yourself and that will give you and your family strength!

There are good things ahead for both of us, your husband and your family.
