Default IV treatment?

Anybody hear of PCS or other migraine headache cases being treated with a course of IV injections, with hospitalization taking 3 to 7 days? First day with my 9th doctor and he brings this up. This Neurologist is part of the NFL program for former FB players suffering from multiple concussions, and the first one I have met that will call my injury a concussion despite no LOC, so I think a lot of him already.
