Default After two years....

I still can't: handle people, crowds, noise, confined spaces, being outside of my space and my safety zone, bright light, understand mail that comes and has to do with adult things like taxes, pay info etc...., being away from my service dog, being on someone's schedule, remaining attentive for longer periods of time.

What is finally changing is me in that I don't put my self in situations where the above happen. Neighbors that think they are helping, I don't want their help, inquiries, concern so I give them happy wave tops of how I am doing, I do come right out and tell people I have TBI. I get invited to dinner where they drive and I can't take my service dog. I don't like to go out, I don't like to be away from Trip (service dog) or discuss my well being so I respectfully decline. It has taken a long time to accept but once I did, life got better. I get help with my mail and sorting my pills because I still mess the pills up.
