Default guilt and anxiety from pcs

I'm about 2.5 months with PC's. Last few days I've been extremely painful, not sure if bad weather could be contributing to this.

My question for those of you dealing with this is how you deal with some of the emotional sides. Personally, I'm having a hard time because I'm feeling guilty. Guilty that I'm letting work down, guilty that I'm not being a good partner to my fiance etc . How do you train yourself to not think this way?

Also, how do you explain what's going on with PC's? So many friends and coworkers think you just have headaches....I don't know how to explain how my entire life is turned upside down and how every moment I'm in pain, dizzyness, confused, insomnia etc.

Thanks any personal experience or advice is appreciated!

Watch the "You Look Great" YouTube video series. There is a link to it at the bottom of my post in the stickies about Vitamins and Supplements at the top. Once friends see some of this 6 segment series, they will go away with a much better understanding. If they are not willing to take the time to watch any of it, don't expect them to be very supportive.

Mark is right. The "You look great" series was very good, but your family MUST be willing to invest the time to LEARN about mTBI/PCS. My Mother in particular does not have the patience to sit and read/watch anything for any length of time and she continues to be the main source of my stress. If only she would do some more research then I know that most of her questions would be answered! I hope that you find a better path than I have, but know that answers are out there.
