So sorry you're having such a hard time, the not sleeping is torture isn't it.

I remember getting sooo upset, thinking is this how I'm going to be for the rest of my life, I can't stand it, severe headaches for days, swaying when I walked, eyeballs hurt, disorientation...on and on...

I do know when I got upset and so frustrated everything escalated, so I tried to go with the flow so to speak and kept telling myself it's going to take time, your brain is injured so take it slow.

Hope you have some relief soon.

Default Hello rjbills fan

There is always hope. Hang on to that. People on this site who have TBI can and do get better with time. I know it is hard, I have read posts like yours for years now. Stay here and get the support from those who suffer from the same thing you do. Take it one day, one hour, one minute at a time.
Will you doctors do nothing for you to help out? There are therapies available if your doctor is knowledgeable. If your doctor just brushes you off, search for another. Often people on this site can give references to doctors they see in your area.
At my darkest times, I picked just one thing a day, that made me happy. A poem, a song, a sunset, birds flying over. Anything I could to distract myself. It does work. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Post to Mark of Idaho. He is very educated about TBI, and suffers as you do. ginnie

You will get better. It just takes time.

Do you keep a diary? This can help with keeping track of symptoms alleviating over a period of time whilst coping with a foggy memory.

Good luck to you.

Default yes

hi with pcs you are looking at months per improvment but you will improve missing areas of brain will need much more time but the main thing is rest both mental and physical in the early stages by that i am talking the first 3 to 6 months then the coping with what you are left with can start its a long road but the prize is getting your life back it maybe changed but a life worth living

best wishes as allways
