Went to the hospital for a night for help, my headaches were unbarable and my disconnect feelings frighting, i was looking for answers as it was the final straw with my ordeal. They took me in for the night and had they increased my zoloft from 50mg to 100mg per day. To make a long story short they basically said that the medical feild is not fully aware of concussion and post concussion syndrome. I requested further tests but they told me the tests wont tell them anything. They also mentioned to wait a few weeks to see how the zoloft is working. In the end im at the mercy of this condition.

I am sorry you are going threw this.I do not know your story, but I do know that I was in the same place as you on my journey threw PCS hell. I have showed great improvement over time and I learned self love and self care. I went from not being able to walk or talk to now I am back in College with ADA help.
Have you tried talk therapy? It helps just to have someone listen to our racing thoughts because they give us compassion to our injuries. It is a bandage for self love. Please do not let this horrible complex syndrome define you. It DOES GET BETTER....TIME IS OUR NUMBER ONE MEDICINE. I suggest GREATLY COMMUNITY acupuncture as well. Do you know how to meditate? If not let us know and we can help you learn. ![]()

I don't really like going out in the world much anymore. I know I am not being judged as harshly by others as I judge myself. It is so hard on ones self esteem. I wish I could forget.....that I forget.
