Sorry to hear about what you've been going through as well. Definitely takes the brain a long time to heal, and in my case, thought it was healed after my first bout with PCS, but has regressed over the last many years. Our symptoms sound very similar aside from the migraines though.

Did you have any tests done on your ears out of curiosity? E-Cog or ENG or anything? I do think it's an issue with my brain sending mixed signals, just not sure where they're originating from, if it's the ears, eyes, or the brain itself. Or maybe some combination of all three.

Hope things continue to improve for you!

I also had vertigo symptoms along with migraines and convergence insufficiency. I had so much inner ear pain and imbalance issues although MRI / CT scans revealed nothing structural.

A turning point was a visit to the neurology & ENT departments of UCSF. They suspected that because the inner ear was fine the brain was unhappy. They began to treat for migraines with noritryptiline. I am not in month 3 and have gone up to 50 mg (and yes have gained weight), but the vertigo spells, multiple migraines per week have gone down.

I'm not sure what the constellation of your symptoms are, but it might be helpful to see. Sometimes vestibular issues, like mine, have little to do with the inner ear and more to do with the brain sending incorrect signals.

best of luck!
