Wink Thoughts on religious or spiritual beliefs, or non-belief

Hey everyone!

I was just wondering how TBI's and/or PCS have affected each of your lives, specifically relating to your views on religion or spiritual faith if any.

What did you believe before the incident? Has it changed during your recovery process?

I'm interested to know as I feel very frustrated and alone when trying to explain to those around me, that I no longer believe what they believe because my life experiences have brought about a different understanding.

Regards,

Astrid

P.S - No fighting!

Hi
I do want to mention that our guidelines actually state that we prefer not to have religious discussions on the forums that can lead to debate or arguments.
It really is just hard for people to discuss diverse beliefs without the discussion becoming heated, mainly because many feel so strongly about what they do (or do not) believe.

So even your ps of "no fighting" may not be enough to prevent that!
Based on past experience, and for the sake of peace on the forum, I am going to have to close this discussion down before it even begins.

We do have a Sanctuary for Spiritual Support forum but even there the guidelines state:
Quote:
This "Sanctuary" is a place for people of all spiritual beliefs and faiths to offer support and compassion to each other in the form of prayers, meditation, and expressions of spirituality. This forum is for support, not religious debate.
