Default Hate this feeling !!!

got head butted in january then 1 day later had a dizzy spell and ever since have felt not quite right like im on auto pilot, have headaches and not dizzy spells more like i feel like im being pushed around in my head, been to the doctors who offer no help other than giving meds for dizziness which i have been reluctant to take, some days i feel ok but then some other days its really hard and its like i have to really concentrate to get through the day, just wondering if anyone else feels this way.

angel,

Welcome to NeuroTalk. It sounds like you suffered a concussion. Have you taken time for quiet rest ? The injured brain needs activity and stimulation reduced so it can heal. There is not much doctors can do except recommend rest and treat individual symptoms with meds and occasionally therapies.

What did the doctors tell you ?

Hi have not realy taken time for rest to be honest returned to wirk straight away the doctor dismissed a concussion and dsid it could be viral or stress but imnot convinced as symtems only started after head injury and some days are worse than others.

Concussions are notoriously under diagnosed. You may want to seek another opinion.
