I had posted a few negative posts while going threw a withdrawal from SNRI. I would like to apologize...It was a HARD time!!I was taking a SNRI for my laundry list of diagnosis. The SNRI stopped working on it's own while I continued to take it(realizing all this after). The withdrawal was worse than anything I endured during this TBI etc. 4 month's taken away, could not get out of the bed for anything but shower etc, dizzy, brain zaps, non function etc.
My suggestion is if you choose the SNRI (I do not know about SSRI) To try for a short time period 6month's Max! The longer you take the pills the more you will find yourself having to always change medication and go threw these withdrawals. I was on 9 month's when SNRI stopped working. At that rate I do not want to keep getting higher medications and keep changing medication. If the pills work for you and you are content with making/taking changes often no pun. I think it can help but it can also complicate the TRUE recovery/improvements . I am not a doctor (which they really could not help me except pills!pills!pills!)I speak from 3 years PCS. I am no longer brain zapping, dizzy, fatigue, lethargic, I sleep good, I am happy, I can think, I am functionable ![]() I have a clean diet, my lifestyle has been rebuilt around the diagnosis to 'maintain' them at a comfort level. Of course not everyday is going to be a good day but for me it is better than depending on SNRI. ![]() Acupuncture helps a TON!! Google Community acupuncture in your city pay $15-$35. At least try 3 times to see and I found believing in it helps! lol
