Martha,

Welcome to NeuroTalk.

Neurofeedback and neurotherapy have been discussed many times here. There are many different kinds of neurofeedback, some are worthwhile, others carry risk to the patient.

Please tell us about the type of neurofeedback you are interested in. Some of the names of different neurofeedback systems are: LENS, ROSHI, PROSHI, Brainwave Optimization, EMDR, and a few others. None other than EMDR are approved by the FDA for treating brain injuries. EMDR is controversial.
