Default Acupuncture in Ottawa, Canada?

If any forum members would recommend an acupuncture practitioner based in Ottawa, Ontario, I would be really grateful.

While there are many practitioners in the city, I would prefer to find someone with particular experience treating PCS. A number of acupuncture clinics have websites claiming they treat PCS, among many things, but I am skeptical.

A recommendation from someone who has had a good experience with a particular practitioner or clinic would be really appreciated.

Salutations fellow Ottawanian(?). Try a chap called "Jing" (613-724-4747) in the Westboro area.

Thanks for the recommendation Canadoc. Have you used him personally? Or just know of him?

I have been considering trying acupuncture again, I saw another person a few times, but did not have any positive results, but I wonder if that was just the practitioner and I wonder if the results would differ with someone else.

Interesting that there are a number of us on this forum from the Ottawa area.

Default Next on my list

I have talked to a few people with regards to recommendations. There is one someone tried but it sound kind weird. Dr. Tran. Apparently you line up first thing in the morning and he has cots scattered in a small building.

The women I spoke to said he was amazing, but she does not suffer from pcs. I have also heard of Dr. Wai, but again only a recommendation.

If you try someone let me know, I am in the market.

I would however recommend a good osteopath, he name is Christian and he is at the Ottawa Osteopathy and sport medicine clinic on Riverside Drive.

Good luck and keep us informed.

Thanks all for your suggestions and comments, and apologies if this thread covered ground previously posted elsewhere.

I appreciate the suggestions for Ottawa-based practitioners, and will consider acting on some of these once I consult my physician in the coming weeks.

On the subject of behavioural optometry, I wasn't able to find anyone here. I ended up in London, Ontario to see Dr Cheryl Letheren, whom I would strongly recommend.

A fireman patient of mine used him for a lifelong affliction of sports induced migraines that none of us could help with other than meds. Saw "Jing" for several sessions and has never had the migraines since (I'm impressed). Was considering going there myself but just can"t seem to get the time.
