Although....in high school up until a year or two after I went through a major depression. Did a fair share of drugs and major alcohol abuse (surprised im still alive honestly). But I recovered from all of that and have felt fine for the past two years. I'm wondering if that has made me more susceptible. My eeg was fine though?

Drug and alcohol abuse can all effect the brain like any other brain injury. I would not doubt that your history is playing a part in your current struggles. Research has shown that alcohol abuse during the teen years can effect how the brain functions in later life. The brain is extra sensitive in the teens to early 20's.

Hi
Sorry to hear about you struggles.
I wanted to weigh in with the weird like, in a dream symptoms .
I too had these at the start of my injury. I too also sufferd with major anxiety and panic attacks. So I understand in part what you may be experience .
It is very hard to explane feelings to people.

I am 22 months in and thought like you I would never recover, but improvements started around 3 months and slowly carried on.
I had therapy for my anxiety and took up yoga and meditation .
Like you I do not like medication.
It is a long slow process to heal but is very very slow and you must listen to your body when it tells you to rest and slow down.

You will get very good advise here but please be patient and try to relax and go with the flowZ

Good luck in your healing
